 Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I meet my guide?

Please plan to arrive at Fresno Yosemite International Airport by 2:00 PM PST on Day 1. Your guide will pick you up shortly after arrival. Alternatively, your guide can collect you from your accommodation or another central point in Fresno (within 30 minutes of airport) by 1:00 PM PST if you choose to arrive a day early.

What are the temps in Yosemite during our trip?

Please feel free to check the zone area forecast for Yosemite here. Note that this forecast is for the valley. If we are in the high country, it will be colder at night.

How many people are coming on this trip?

Our guest list has 8 spaces, first come first served.

What should I bring for hiking clothes?

We suggest packing a variety of layers (re: puffer, fleece layer, tights, knit hat, shorts). Layers can be shed as the day warms up. Poly-blends are great for hiking as they wick sweat away from the body. Expect mild days, and nights to be fairly cold. Snow on trails may stick around in higher elevations so muddy conditions are likely on some hiking days.

When does the trip conclude on the final day?

Your guide will transport the group to the airport to arrive by 2:00 PM PST on Day 5. Please plan a departure after that time. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to book a hotel, please be prepared to find personal transportation to the airport (via Lyft, taxi, etc).

I can no longer attend the hiking trip, what is your cancellation policy?
Multi-day trips cancelled more than 30 days from their departure dates are eligible for a cash refund minus a cancellation fee (which is equivalent to 20% of the full trip cost) or you can opt to take a full credit for use at a future date. Cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Single-day trips cancelled more than 30 days from their departure dates are eligible for a cash refund minus a cancellation fee (which is equivalent to 5% of the full trip cost) or you can opt to take a full credit for use at a future date. Cancellations within 30 days are eligible for a cash refund minus a cancellation fee (which is equivalent to 20% of the full trip cost) or you can opt to take a full credit for use at a future date. Should I purchase travel insurance?

We 100% encourage you to purchase travel insurance! Things happen, and we want to make sure your investment is protected.
