Beginner to advanced, she actively listens and plans custom trips for all sorts of needs and wants. She completed a thru hike of the PCT in 2016. When not working you can find her exploring the hobby of woodworking.

Corey Hassell

In 2012, Corey first started fishing in Phoenix, Arizona. For how limited fishing is in the Sonoran Desert, Corey still enjoyed learning to fly fish for carp and small mouthed bass at the Salt River and in urban canals. Always knowing he wanted to fish for trout, Corey went on to hike the John Muir Trail in the Eastern Sierras, where he developed a passion for trout fishing in alpine lakes and streams. Now based in Northern Utah, Corey is thrilled to be fishing the Green River. When not fishing, you can find him enjoying time with his family or playing hockey.

Marly Upcavage

Marly runs the workshop(s) and gear rental branch of Outdoor Mavens. From leading our Backpacking 101 workshop, to coaching clients on which gear to rent for their camping trip, Marly is truly an expert in teaching outdoor living skills. She has completed both the AT and the PCT. She is an avid birder and desert weekend warrior. When not working on her graduate degree in sustainable planning, she and her partner ski all over the Wasatch Front.

Constance Coley

Constance is an all star guide, who often runs our women’s trips. Her favorite part about leading a Maven’s trip is teaching clients new wilderness survival skills. Constance is a Search and Rescue ranger for Canyonlands National Park. During the day she can be found out patrolling the backcountry or issuing permits for recreational users in Moab. When not at work as a park ranger, she likes to canyoneer, ride mountain bikes, and visit her family in Hawaii.
